From packing a lunch, to eating in the park, to visiting a restaurant in the surrounding area, Hersheypark offers many options for visitors.
A trip to Hersheypark, located in Hershey, PA, is filled with fun for people of all ages. Spending the day is certain to work up an appetite. Fortunately, when hunger strikes, there are many available options. Dining Within HersheyparkLook into the Hersheypark Meal Plan. Available for visitors ages 3 and older, a fixed price ($24.95 at this writing) allows unlimited eating from a lunch and dinner menu from noon to 8 pm. Food such as pulled pork, salads, barbecue chicken and ice cream novelties are routinely offered. Beverages are included in the price as well. Meal passes can be purchased at any Guests Services or Hospitality location within the park. Reserve a breakfast with the Hershey characters. Each morning at 10 am , a breakfast, including muffins, eggs, french toast, potatoes and assorted beverages, is served in the Tudor Grill restaurant. Life-sized characters such as Hershey Kiss®, Reese's® Peanut Butter Cup and the Hershey Bar® make an appearance for photo opportunities. Advance reservations are a must. A Hersheypark Meal Ticket offers a flexible and affordable option for families visiting the park. A 32-ounce souvenir cup provided with the purchase of a Meal Ticket, giving visitors 99-cent refills all season long. Nearly 20 restaurants within the park participate in the Meal Ticket which allows visitors to eat when and where they choose at a reduced price. Special diets are not a problem within Hersheypark. Food allergies are openly addressed with many restaurants offering gluten-free, nut/peanut -free and dairy-free options. Park maps have specials symbols showing which restaurants can accommodate visitors with special dietary needs. Numerous establishments cater to other special diet needs such as vegetarian, kosher and reduced sugar. Check ingredient and restaurant information before visiting. Pack Snacks and a Meal for a Day at HersheyparkWhile picnic lunches and food items may not be taken into the park (bags are subject to a search), picnic areas are available just outside the park entrance. These areas are easily accessible within the parking lot. Picnic tables are set up near any restroom along the tram car route. Picnicking is also allowed in the Stadium and on the patio above the Season Pass Office. Note that one unopened water bottle per person may be brought into the park. Restaurants Located outside HersheyparkRetain the parking ticket stub for free parking all day. A short drive outside Hersheypark offers many options for dining. Within two miles, there are several fast food restaurants, pizza shops, sit-down family restaurants, cafes and fine dining establishments. An admission ticket includes all of the amusements, a full schedule of entertainment, a waterpark, a zoo and a tour through Chocolate World. Plan ahead to satisfy hunger stomachs for a more enjoyable experience for all.
