Western Pennsylvania Celebrates Autumn
The autumn months in Pennsylvania bring a spectacular show of colorful leaves. That alone is certainly reason enough to plan a Pennsylvania vacation during these months. There is, however, also something special that takes place every year in Clarion, PA. It is an event named the Autumn Leaf Festival. During the festival special events and attractions include:

Sharon, PA is home to a legendary candy store by the name of Daffin's. Every year, around Easter, Daffin's holds an event called Swizzle Stick Day. On this day, an open house is held at their factory in Farrell, Pennsylvania. Visitors are shown how Daffin's candy is made and given a swizzle stick dipped in fresh candy filling with fresh chocolate dipped on top.
Summer Means Sailing the Small Ships
It isn't officially summer in Western Pennsylvania until the Small Ships Revue takes place. Every year locals float down the Shenango River on sometimes less than sea worthy crafts. Laughs are shared and prizes are won during the revue. Each year the event, created by Quaker Steak & Lube founders George Warren and Gary Meszaros, also includes a parade, a festival, a concert, and a fireworks display.
Holiday Displays That Are Worth the Trip
Kraynak's Garden Center, in Hermitage, PA, offers seasonal attractions that are fun for all ages. In the Spring, this walk-though attraction has an Easter theme and is known as Easter Bunny Lane. During the Autumn and Winter months, it is decorated for Christmas and becomes known as Santa's Christmas Land. Both feature music, animatronics, beautiful decorations, and displays.
